welcome To tea things
A women’s collective based in Portland, oR
Tea Things draws its name from the beautiful tapestry of global traditions that unite people over a shared cup of tea.
As a symbolic thread weaving through diverse cultures, tea brings people together, fostering connection, conversation, and camaraderie. Our name reflects the belief that "things" aren't merely objects, but the meaningful moments, stories, and connections created during our events. Whether sipping herbal infusions in Asia, partaking in British high tea, or savoring Moroccan mint tea,
Tea Things embraces nurturing friendships, understanding, and the shared joy of life's simple pleasures.

HIKE YEAH, HIKE YEAH
Spring is here, so let’s move our bodies together!
Join us for a chill morning hike in the city. We’ll warm up with a 3-mile hike and cool down by sipping some warm tea. This is a great way to motivate each other to stay active—because movement is medicine for both the mind and body.

Where: MAC TRAIL- WASGHINTON PARK
While it’s free to join, RSVP is required.
Spots are limited, so please only RSVP if you’re sure you can attend.

Meet our founder
Hi there! I'm Tomazia Benoliel, originally from Angola and currently residing in Portland, OR. Amidst the challenges of relocating during the COVID era, I faced difficulties in creating enduring connections. This prompted me to envision a community for women like me, drawing inspiration from the soothing tea traditions of my culture.
My goal is to forge a community where individuals can come together, share experiences, and nurture genuine friendships, just one tea cup at a time.
